Brain Food, Fitness & Relaxation

These are important features of our day and we have them in our program to help students develop an understanding of personal wellbeing.

Following on from Kindy we also have a Fruit time.  At this time only raw fruit/vegetables are allowed, if it comes in a package we say no.  At recess and lunch your child can eat what ever you pack for them.

OUR SCHOOL IS A NUT FREE ZONE!!!

Fitness

Every day we participate in easy fitness activities, like running, walking, skipping, dancing, yoga and brain gym.

Relaxation

We use simple methods to relax and recoup after a busy time, deep breathing, hand massage, simple yoga, listen to music or reading.   Occasionally we watch 10 minutes of a Mr Men, Care Bear,  Muppet Show etc DVD Clip on the whiteboard.
